The 6095 m2 site was already zoned for townhousing and had approval for 9 dwelling houses to be constructed. This application consisted of a proposal to amend of the subdivision plan to allow 18 double storey town housing units instead of the approved 9 single storey single dwelling units. @Planning briefed the architect on the proposed layout, remaining sufficiently within the realm of what was previously approved to ensure a swift approval process.

@Planning’s tasks included the following:

  • Advise client on the most suitable densification options
  • Brief and advise the architect on the design
  • Brief and advise the engineer on the required reports
  • Prepared the amended subdivision plan on CAD
  • Amend the architectural guidelines and ensure consistency
  • Prepare application report with full motivation in terms of the Land Use Planning Ordinance
  • Submit the application and ensure its successful processing through the municipality
